HI THERE!

My name is Carly Stagg, and I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in May of 2019.

I work as a New Patient Coordinator, Clinical Educator/Health Coach and (soon to be!) Registered Nurse at the SevaMed Institute, an innovative functional and integrative medicine practice in Lutz, FL. Some of the therapies our practice uses include biofeedback, a science-based elimination diet, and therapeutic lifestyle changes.

In my professional practice, I hope to blend traditional medicine with holistic and alternative options. Above all, I am passionate about empowering patients with the education they need to take charge of their own health. When patients are given all the information they need about a topic, they can feel empowered and give true informed consent. This true partnership between patient and healthcare provider is what I strive for!

I will begin the Master of Science in Nursing program, Family Health concentration, at the University of South Florida in August of 2019 and could not be more thrilled to be realizing my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner!

My long-term goal is to gain my doctorate in nursing practice and become a Family Nurse Practitioner (maybe with an additional certificate in Nurse-Midwifery!). I plan to specialize in primary care and preventative medicine, specifically the management and reversal of complex chronic disease.

I’d like to also share a few fun facts about me!

  1. I am half Cuban-American and bilingual in English and Spanish.

  2. Outside of nursing, music is one of my major hobbies- specifically singing. And harmony is kind of my jam!

  3. In 2017, I earned a certification in nutrition from the Nutritional Therapy Association and my life changed forever! Food is medicine and what we put into our bodies really does matter.

  4. I’ve always loved science, specifically putting the puzzle pieces together of how things work. My passion is helping patients with complex chronic diseases take back their own health and live the vibrant life of their dreams.

Take a look at my portfolio and be sure to contact me with any questions.

SINCERELY,
